PPNI Ltd brings together the local experience of four breeders with over 100 years combined experience of producing and marketing potatoes from Northern Ireland, with the international expertise and market presence of KWS Potatoes BV., Nagele, Netherlands.

In 2010 PPNI Ltd entered into an agreement with Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute (AFBI) through which PPNI Ltd. became the commercial partner in the Potato Breeding Programme operated by AFBI at Loughgall.

Our Agreement ” gives PPNI Ltd the right to market all new varieties emerging from the breeding programme as well as all varieties within the existing AFBI portfolio of potato varieties

All seed potatoes are subject to defined quality standards. These vary within different markets but are clearly stated by agents operating within each market.
